You know the lovely modern thing we do to animals

My answer is to accept what i can not control. If it is a contradiction that you are looking for then i can give you one. Part of me thinks it is wrong to eat meat because of the cruelty that is part of the industry. However there is another part of me that loves the smell and taste of meat, and i am happy to eat it.

Given the Human internal struggle for contentment i understand this contradiction as

Human Nature 1, Human Civility 0

But Fox hunting is totally different from eating meat. It is Not a natural thing to hunt for pleasure , and it is as weird as me getting into my car and driving around the streets of Manchester running dogs over. The only reason it appears as "arguably acceptable" is because it is part of history, like Stoning people was, or Public Execution is in some parts of the world today.

Labour got rid of Fox Hunting and if the Tories bring it back, it won't be because they believe it to be a

"Humane way of pest control" Come on! does anyone really believe that head****?

It will be because it fulfills a part of their strategy in being elected.
Talliho Mr Fox you just got shafted by Tory Boy.
