Sticks, I know you mean no harm at all in this, BUT……it is unfortunate you have taken this tack for a number of reasons.

Firstly, Darius was taunted and bullied at school as being a ‘Saddam’. Secondly, his extended family in Iraq have suffered at the hands of the current regime.

Finally, even if this were not true, it is always saddening to see someone judged solely on their heritage, race, culture, religion, gender or orientation.

As I said I know you mean no harm, but the most subtle innuendo is potentially offensive and encourages others to adopt a similar stance. I suspect that Darius has Indian ancestry, as does a significant, much loved, admired and respected branch of my family. I have seen at first hand, the hurt that throw away remarks intended to be humorous can bring.

Now, back to this thread.

Bunty and I are attempting to rekindle the lunacy of our early virtual sortees into Hadley Wood and Basildon. We feel we all need some light relief at this time.

Reluctantly, I have to concede that the object of my lustful thoughts and desires has opted for a quiet life of connubial bliss and serial private ‘stuff’. I have tormented him enough for the time being, with my lascivious demands. He is not and never will be forgotten.

We must move on, and I think Darius is the man for the job. He obviously will want me, desperately, when he meets me, but I am willing to share. Bunty will probably do her usual trick of passing out when we get our hands on him, so I think we need a few more recruits.

Are we alone in our quest? I know Discolady has expressed her interest, and I think we can count on Boris, but what about the others?

PS DON’T TELL LEE. She couldn’t cope with the excitement. We need clear heads for this mission.

Come on, you know it makes sense………
