I concede that only GaGa and Britney seem to have the word 'appreciation' in the titles...oops.

And Ke$ha would've been a better example than Gaga.

But otherwise my points still stand :P I remember when the section (albeit was underused) was mostly people posting new tracks in threads and people would talk about them. Now it's just updated mega-threads...consider it a thread-form of monopoly, if you will.
