Having seen the film today, it was indeed another let down. It wasn't terrible, but now I know why the studios pushed the release date back, not making it eligible for the Oscars.

The big twist of the film was very obvious, and I guess it within the first 15 minutes. DeCaprio was as average as ever, the story lacked a real punch and at times it was just down right boring. It’s a shame too, I enjoyed the first 45 minutes or so, but it seemed to steadily go down hill from there. Really not as clever as it makes itself out to be.

Disappointing, but I've come to expect it from Scorsese over the past 10 years or so.
