That's what I was thinking. If you wanted to get more advance than that, there are limitless features in various DAW's that let you create a certain environment. It's certainly an unusual and very far step to take to fake an advert though.
Also, adverts I have noticed often do run ahead of when they are supposed to, which would be unusual for pay as you go commercial adverts showcasing products, but not so much with other adverts.
This all hinges on if someone has a Sky+/etc of the event.
