Actually it's possible for anyone to walk up from the Tesco car park to the Studio's perimeter, right up to the gate in question. From the gate you can see the BB house around 10-15 metres ahead of you
Although the gate is pretty tame they keep it shut most of the time, and there are security cabins dotted around the perimeter of the house

I assumed it was well out of the way somewhere, and that people would have to literally break through a fasinity to even get the chance to shout anything to the house LOL

Yeah I am also surprised and in a way I almost wish I did not know the garden (which we imagine as this magical telly world) is just parked beside the back corner of a Tescos where I now imagine the assistant manager of bakery corner having a smoke and while teens loiter about, plastic bags blowing around and just the most mundane things... all right outside the back wall.
It also makes me wonder how many people, maybe new to the area or visiting etc.. how many have been unwittingly walking past the BB house and never even knew what it was or that they were standing there just outside the garden.. .maybe even hearing a row break out.. but never realised where it was coming from.. they were too busy trying to get home in time to watch BB aha.
I have to say that years ago they filmed a big Hollywood movie in a neighbours house about 12 houses down from us. Amazingly, almost nobody noticed.
Some said later they just thought the people must have been moving or something.. they saw a truck backed up.. really nothing remarkable happened. Yet somehow there were big actors, crews and a year later a movie with a lot of crazy action and special effects came out.
If you saw the film you would have believed our neighbourhood was so very interesting and that house was some amazing unique center of attention and there was some special exciting atmosphere around it all.
What I don't like though.. knowing the location (in both these examples) sort of takes away my 'suspension of disbelief' heh.
I want to make-believe I'm seeing some surreal landscape in its own unique 'world' somewhere not like mine.
