Pal texted 'slag' jibe at Jack Tweed's accuser.

One of Jack Tweed's friends taunted the woman who accused him of rape with a "sick" text just an hour after she heard the not guilty verdict.

The student, who cannot be named, was horrified when she read the message, which was sent by someone who was at Tweed's home on the night she claimed she was attacked. She was so upset she phoned her father and broke down in tears.

The text, sent to her best friend, said: "Tell her better luck next time, ha ha ha. *********g slag."

Her father said: "She was stunned when she got this text, absolutely shocked. She had only heard the verdict an hour or so before, so to get this on top of it was really sick. She was furious and said to me, 'Dad, they can't get away with treating people like this'.

"Although the person who sent the text was at Tweed's flat on the night of the incident they did not give evidence.

The woman's dad added: "It's not the way to behave "It's not the way to behave regardless of the result. And Tweed coming out of court punching the air was really clever, wasn't it?"
