Also if he said no, would nick Clegg take up the mantle of PM? PMSL. Country goes back to the polls and the Lib-Dems may be wiped out for appearing to be so low on integrity by entering into negotiations with labour after Cleggs pre election statements about bolstering the highest vote winner.
