I'm not sure that is entirely true though. I noticed a few brown faces,
but,
maybe the problem with a statement like this is that it assumes if the representative is a native then he or she just represents natives.
WRONG.
Demonstrably wrong but it even 'hypothetically' there is not reason for that to be true.
I also dislike the question which seems to insinuate (or even imply) that you don't trust the decisions of so many blacks and asians?
In ridings with substantial black or asian populations we saw native 'anglo-saxon' Brits elected.
Well it becomes statistically impossible to suppose a large portion of their votes were from blacks and asians.
So who are you to question their choice?
If 500 blacks wanted Nigel Whiteman as their representative then who are you so say these black voters were wrong?
Maybe they are very pleased that Nigel Whiteman is representing them.

As an 'anglo-saxon' I once voted for an East Indian immigrant to represent me in a local election.
So what?
I was happy with how he did represent me too.
Or do you think he would only represent other East Indians?

I'm sure there were a few Jews kicking about somewhere.
I wonder why the OP won't complain about disproportional representation of Jews in the UK?
