- BBC Radio 2 also increased it's weekly reach to 14.57m [17.2% share of total audience], up from 13.47m the previous quarter.

- Axe-threatened station, BBC 6Music, has increased its weekly reach to a record 1.02m listeners, up from 695,000 the previous quarter.

- BBC Radio 1 attracted 11.74m listeners per week, up from 10.76m in the previous quarter.

- BBC Radio 1 also pulled in its biggest quarterly share of the 15-24 year old audience in the last 8 years.

- The Chris Moyles Show reached a record 7.88m listeners per week, up from 7.24m last quarter, and 7.7m at the same time last year.

- The new Radio 1 daytime line-up appears to be working, as Dev, Fearne Cotton, Greg James and Scott Mills all increase their listening figures.

- Greg James is up by 500,000, and Fearne Cotton is up by 250,000. The others are unknown.

- The BBC Asian Network, also facing the axe, reached just 357,000 listeners weekly, down from 360,000 last quarter, and 405,000 last year.

- Overall, the BBC continued to dominate the radio listening figures, with a 56.5% share of the total audience.

Some very surprising and interesting figures here, especially 6Music and Evans. Pleased for Moyles and Greg James too.
