As you say you are from Dublin then surely you know Dublin is a city ,not a town.
I see what you mean about Dublin being as British as the UK.
Sure there is union jacks flying from every building ,when you walk by the pubs you can hear them all singing "rule Britannia" inside and as I have been living here 11 yrs I am starting to pick up a cockney accent
