It varies depending on their background, age, class etc but generally between joking (practical, subtle and/or sexual), bitching (think Jungle Cats), relationships (but rarely in as much emotional detail as how women talk about them), sport (!), TV and film (similar interests), cars and/or motorbikes (!), holidays and past times (fun times), drink (brands, clubbing) and some are passionate about videogames (man child) lol
