Can I put people straight on whether Ben is playing the game or not being real. Well, as someone who has known Ben for many years and move within one one of circle of friends, Ben is 100% being himself in the BBH. He's reacting exactly how Ben would react on the outside.
With Ben what you see is what you get, he's not false unlike some in there.
