I don't think I am nasty about HM's, I usually use an example of somehting they have done or said to illustrate why I don;t like them. I don't hate any housemates, have come close to intense dislike tho!
They are on a reality TV show and know the score, so it should not come as a shock to them that not everyone will like them.
Universal popularity just is not going to happen.
