Well, he's gay! So he probably has been crossdressing before he came on BB. I doubt whether he's a transsexual (woman to man), because his beard is really strong and he's 6 foot too.
I think the secret is probably is he wasn't picked at random at the start and he's probably involved in the Channel 4 production team, ie he really is and continues to be The Mole.
