In this case you're right, but don't get too het-up by the exact numbers - one person can move the whole market with a few large bets. It's difficult to explain the reasons for doing this but it relates to trading a bit like the stock-market in reverse - you 'buy high', manipulate a cascade (shortening) across the market, then sell low for a anstant guaranteed profit at no risk.
It works because the BB market is so pifflingly tiny compared to horses or soccer where market manipulation costs millions to move the market.
