There is no such thing as "normal" Christianity. There are over 38,000 denominations(versions) of Christianity, of which Dave's is just one, and some are way more outlandish and freakish than his. Look at Catholicism that believes in transubstantiation, the virgin birth and confessions where men dressed in frocks can forgive your sins (even murder) so long as you say a few hail marys.
Why don't people open their bigoted eyes and accept that we all have the freedom to believe in whatever the hell we like. I note none of the HMs have told Dave to shut up to his face if they don't like his pontificating, they just bitch about him constantly behind his back, so not only are they are hypocritical bigots but also moral cowards.
