So do I, take a look at the documentary "The Fog Of War". He wanted out of Vietnam and soon after he gets suddenly shot.

Seriously watch the documentary, the conversations between JFK, McNamara and Lyndon B Johnson are incredible. Especially the one before and after the shooting regarding Vietnam.
