This had happened in the nest shjortly before that. As soon as Nathan got exaspirated at Ben and stormed-off, Ben was straight onto this all being John's doing.
Which was ironic cos John hadn't bothered speaking to Ben or being involved with them for any of the 2 hours of bickering that had just gone-on.
