Pete won on sympathy vote and avoiding as much conflict as he possibly could. He didn't deserve to win imho. Not when up against Aisleyne.

Brian Dowling won on his own merits, he was the central character of that series.

Belo won for being funny and childlike, he had a lot of detractors, but he was the deserving winner of BB8 in my view. I think he made up in emotional intelligence what he lacked in intellect.

Anthony got the sympathy vote after having lies told about him by Makosi and Craig stalking him. He never lied about wanting to win though so fair play to him in the end.

Kate also got something of a sympathy vote. In the final she was pitted against Jade, who never stood a chance, Alex who was too much of a divisive figure and Jonny who alienated a lot of the audience due to his lechery around Kate. If only Alison hadn't been evicted... then maybe BB3 wouldn't have been such a poor series.

The reasons for Rachel's victory I wish I knew. I can understand the audience sympathising with her over Rex's bullying behaviour, but she never took the bull by the horns and saw Rex for what he was in the way that the bookies' favourite Mikey did. In her entire time in the house, she never gave a contentious opinion on anything and never had any entertainment value for me. She also claimed she never wanted to win, which I thought was a complete cop out. My thoughts on this one is that it may have had something to do with a block vote by bookmakers.

Sophie is not one of my favourite winners either. BB10 wouldn't have suffered without her. But she enjoyed her experience and formed genuine friendships in the house, which makes her a better winner than Rachel and most certainly more deserving than the awful, fake Charlie. Still, out of the final 5, Rodrigo or David would have been better, but they were divisive characters so it was never going to happen.
Agree with a lot of this but BB3 isn't considered a poor series at all. It had the largest audience share, is still regarded as one of the best series, is regarded as the best series of BBs1-4, and just earlier this week 'Nasty' Nick Bateman admitted he thinks BB11 is the best most 'normal' series since then
