No, I never felt it was as deep as love, I was meaning he had fallen for her in a caring way, like a soul mate. The way they act around each other is like that of a married couple.

Have you never met someone that you immediately connect with and spend as much time together as these two have taken without caring for that person.?

I believe he was genuine in the diary room, just didn't know how to go forward with this friendship he had created with Josie.

I think paranoia plays a big part in all this too. Josie played her cards by going on about John going for Keelely, I believe she wound herself up with that one, just as I believe John takes thing too far in most cases.

I wouldn't rule out whether they are destined to be together or not, who knows how this friendship/relationship will develop?
