Caoimhe is meant to be her friend and knows that Josie and JJ both want each other but are too damaged to make the first real move. Caoimhe , imo ,deliberately had that nasty conversation with JJ where he said that he thought of her as a sister simply BECAUSE Caoimhe had said that Josie did not think of him that way.
