The bit I have highlighted is true. Josie asked Keeva not to let JJ know that she fancied him. Soon after, JJ privately asked Keeva if Josie fancied him. Remembering that Josie had said that she did fancy him but didn't want him to know, Keeva "lied" and said no. Sounds to me like she did
exactly what her friend asked her to do. How can you spin it to say that she lied despite what Josie said? You said yourself that she didn't want him to know.
