Yeah, but it's the REASON he gave for doing so that should make you very very wary of such a weirdo.
Apparently he checks his mates and family members texts and phone calls against things they have said to him, in order to make sure they have told him the ABSOLUTE truth. He plays the messages back and keeps texts for "evidence". If he catches them out in a single fib he NEVER talks to them again! Furthermore, he checks train timetables to make sure a reason someone gave him for being late is true.
The man is a complete psycho.
