- when you see David you see him as someone who, by not accepting homosexuality as normal or 'good' is (ultimately stringing this altogether) the reason for you being teased, shamed, feeling socially awkward and what hinders you from realizing all the goodness of being seen as normal, successful, socially praised etc.
Something like that.
