The first week and the first week only was promising. It was once housemates like Rachael and Govan were being evicted that it hit me that either something was done or we'd be in the situation we are now. I knew we should've saved those for the sake of storylines. And yet no one believed me...and now look where we are. A house full of a large majority of dull, non-entities that do absolutely nothing except make small talk about the most irrelevant things. No storylines, nothing.

John James has carried almost half of this series, and as much as some people may hate him, sorry, but without him there would be practically nothing going on.

As for the production side of things, well, just appauling. Next to no alcohol. Yawn. Such stupid editing during tasks etc - I feel like I'm watching CBBC. Silly gimmicks. Yawn. And then the Tree of Temptation - completely lame. Secret tasks that have no point and are just completely easy, not daring or anything like that. I mean, seriously, dressing up as another housemate for a day? Is that really the best they can come up with? Absolutely laughable.

I'm hoping these new housemates will be good but by the looks of things they won't be. Last night was such a pathetic attempt at a 'twist' anyway.

It's really disappointing because last year proved that Big Brother still had the legs to continue, this year proves why it's ending.
