Big brother did originally ban them from talking welsh, but they then had alot of complaints especially from S4C. They didn't want the hassle so they let them talk in welsh. It doesn't make much of a differnece to me, we need subtitles everytime Mikey & Lisa talk anyway.

Im welsh myself, but certainly cant speak a word of welsh. Im surprised both of the welsh housemates can speak welsh becase only a very low percentage of welsh people can actaully speak welsh.
