To be fair though English people need straight A's for medicine too but in 3 A levels, at least one science or two at the top institutions.... so I'm guessing the work u do for 3 A levels equals the work for the 7 subjects.
My friend is from Northern Ireland so they do A levels still. She still said the Irish schooling is better than English
