i said this 2wks ago & got slated for it! the UK BB is c**p compared to the US BB.

in the US version, the public have nothing to do with who gets evicted, its all done by the HMs! so the HMs nominate who they want out & the 1 with the highest votes is evicted. if its a draw between 2 or 3 HMs then the HoH (head of the house - you win this in a task & if you are the HoH you cannot be nominated, there's a new HoH every week) decides who goes!

oh, & then there's the PoV (power of veto). basically, if 1 of your chums is about to get the axe & you have the PoV, you can save that person & nominate someone else!!! pretty cruel process. the US version encourages backstabbing, you can talk about nominations & you are aloud to influence peoples votes. there is actually something to play for in the US version. also, the prize money is huge, so everyone who goes in the house wants to win because its a competition.

oh, & the HMs who are evicted stay in another house until its left to the final 2, then the winner is the 1 who is choosen by the evicted HMs. so the public have no say what so ever! the US BB could make a killing with the phone ins but their way is by far better. its a tactical game.

sry but thats not how its done...i live in the US and every week they have a competition to see who is the next HOH this person nominates the two housemates they want up for eviction. NOBODY ELSE NOMINATES!!!! It is always two housemates as well. This version is very poor compared to yours and most of the people that stay are from annoying alliances. You should be lucky that you have yours I wish we had that format!
