I think their relationship is a difficult one to describe. I think John James was confused at the beginning of their relationship because he wasn't attracted to her. But someone doesn't need to be attracted to another person to be in love with them - that would just be lust. Which is what i think Josie is in, i think she is in lust with John James, however i think she likes aspects of his personality too. John James loves Josie as a person and i think this is something he is noticing more and more, but i think he is scarred about what that implies - he doesn't want a romance inside the house, and he isn't clever enough to realise that everyone is already seeing their relationship as a romance.
I think Josie sends mixed messages of her feelings to other housemates (like Andrew) which i find very uncomfortable because Josie is making out she is in love with john james too - i don't think she is.
I think their pact to stop talking about their feelings in the house is a good idea if they keep to it, but i don't think a relationship between them (even in the outside world) would work because Josie pushes people away when she likes them, and can actually be a bit of a bitch at times. John James walked because he was afraid that Josie wasn't going to talk to him again, because she stormed off. I think Josie overreacted, and i think John James is not emotionally aware enough to realise how she really feels about him.
