He's more confident now since there is a bit less drama than there was in the beginning. I think he's intelligent and brainy...he's playing the game in his own little way (by basically being genuine with everyone) and he's playing it well.
I don't see why Richard nominated him to be honest. Bit of a stupid excuse IMO, but then Richard's not been known for speaking much sense and being fair. At the end of the day Glyn hasn't faced the public vote and even if he did, he probably would have been kept in - in fact I'm pretty certain. So that should say a lot about what the public thinks of his character anyway.
