Lee, that was so interesting, thankyou. I felt as if I'd been sitting beside you after all!

I don't know why I said my eyes were burning last night, poor old you. 'I mean' my hair actually dried whilst I read this!

Thanks for asking the James Taylor question! However, just one thing Lee, and it's driving me mad. He said four people were treated badly by the experience in his opinion. Then I can only see him mention Stuart, Amma and Penny. Who was the fourth?

It was a great interview. You evidently put him at his ease (well, OK, maybe not such a task with a 'dude' like Dean!) and allowed him to express himself thoughtfully. You didn't overtly manipulate the conversation at all, yet you kept a logical structure and progression. Bravo!

In his summation of the experience and his dumbfoundedness at Bubble's eviction, I do think Dean may be yet another housemate who overlooked the 'everyman', and strength of character in adversity' qualities that Paul brought to the house. He seems to see the principals as Brian, Bubble, and Helen (latterly and only because of her dalliance). Yet, when Bubble left, apart from shock shown by Dean, Amma and Brian I think it was positive because it allowed others to be seen and heard.

Conversely, I felt as if a big wet blanket descended upon the house when Paul left. Everyone was moving in slow time, They seemed weary and were obviously ready to leave. Brian only made spasmodic attempts to entertain (ie camera baiting) and a relatively subdued Helen did the 'lovesick but plucky' thing. Dean and Elizabeth made The Royale family look comparitively hypercharged with drive and ambition!

There you go, it was a very different experience and perspective for the people inside. Obviously I have my favourites, and we all know who I would like to be locked up in a house with for nine weeks in my fantasy world!

However, if it happened in the real world, I think Dean would be a great companion to have in there with you. As Miriam has been known to say, I like Dean, I do!

BTW, Lee, if you speak to Dean again, tell him I'll happily co-write his book with him!

Well done again, and congrats to all!
