Fully aware they're still human, fully aware dave isn't homophobic. That doesn't make his opinion informed, or correct, or respectable in any way. He has a right to his opinion, he has a right to state his opinion, I have the right to say his opinion is ****, and around and round we go. Dave could be any religion, or have no religion, and his opinion on gay marriage would still be just as stupid.
