Stu, I have to disagree. I thought Dean had a wonderful, dry wit. For example, don't you remember him chasing Brian round the lounge area with that orange segment in his mouth? The house wouldn't have been the same without him. He was a much needed father figure for the younger ones and my absolute favourite after Helen and Paul.
And, of course, he brought music to the house.
