Absolutely not.
BB10 had one of the best casts of all time, I'd say. Very diverse, full of eccentric and interesting people, whom all gelled together to create great storylines that were also interesting and watchable. Sure, the production sucked, but the housemates made up for it.
This year the production is great [bar twists], but the housemates suck, and it just goes to show that casting is everything. They got the mix totally wrong this year. Half of them are dull, pointless people that add absolutely nothing to the show. I often wonder what the producers saw in people like Steve, and then I remember...his legs/eye. That's the only reason he was chosen. Completely useless housemate. Then you have people like Ben/Dave, who, in fairness, can be quite funny at times...but do not in anyway compares to the 'BB legends'. It's taken them far too long to come out of their shells. Another problem is that a lot of the influential characters were evicted first; Rachael, Govan, Sunshine [and then Shabby who left], and that's why we're in the position where we are now: one single person [John James] holding the series together. Without him half of this series would've fallen flat on its face, and that is a fact.
When you try and think of storyline from this series the only one you can think of is Josie/John. And that explains everything really.
I could rant on about some of the production but I won't. In short, BB10 is far, far superior to BB11.
