I think it depends on how you interpret the word "shy".
I would like to see someone shy who doesn't come into the house all ballsy and confident like most of them but gradually increases in confidence and comes out of their shell as they are supported by the group.
I would not like to see some who was shy in terms of being aloof and just basically didn't want to mix with other people at all.
