Dermot was right!!

This is from today's Online Sun:

Quote:
BIG BROTHER has spoken - to say the new series starts on May 23.

Channel 4 announced today that the fourth run of the mega-successful reality TV show will begin in just over two weeks.

Twelve new housemates will enter the Big Brother house that evening to be cut off from the outside world for the next nine weeks.

Their every move will then be recorded by cameras and microphones, day and night.

A live launch show - presented by Davina McCall - will screen the housemates first reactions to being locked up, with C4's sister station E4 continuing the live coverage throughout the night.

Last week, producers unveiled the latest-look house in Elstree, Herts, and promised this year's Big Brother will have a softer side.

Out went garish colours and furniture for soft pastel shades and comfy sofas in a bid to make life a little easier on the contestants.

TV chiefs also promised they would not repeat last year's controversial experiment which saw the housemates divided on two sides of the house - one rich and one poor.

Instead they say they will be encouraging the group to work together rather than against each other.
16 days and counting!
