Blimey it used to be you had to release a single, write a book, paint a picture or SOMETHING to be considered famous, nowadays it seems that Andy Warhol's quote about being famous for 15 minutes is more accurate now then when he originally said it. I suppose it's about having more forms of communication, more channels = more opportunity to be recognised.

Milk it for all it's worth, get as much money as you can, advertise everything they throw at you but be sensible and save some money for the future.
