[Late for the Party]

I think it might have to do with the fact that Mario tried having a serious conversation with Dave lastnight, about the moon.
Mario asked him 'but why do you think god made such a vast universe and only put 1 planet in it'.
Dave answered instantly "because of the glory". He already had an answer ready and didn't even listen to the question. It was the first time i heard Mario trying to ask Dave a serious question, then the goldfish (rachel) broke the tension by butting in and waving at the moon. Dave totally ignored Mario and also stated that some saint, used to call the moon "mother" and the sun "father". To which Mario replied, "well thats that then, explains it all".
Its a total defence mechanism.
Can't answer the question. Hide behind the glory. Works every time. How can you argue with that.
Mario is sick of it, and i don't blame him
