They had a lot of problems with BB10 and I believe they were all but sabotaging their own work by carrying that Marcy along which was killing their own ratings after all.
It was so bad that a number of BBUSA fans (who actually had a stronger season that year) jumped on the opportunity to mock and ridicule BBUK as if there were a rivalry and their chance to win.
They came on these boards and other BBUK forums boards 'acting' as if they were HUGE fans of Marcy and how awesome he was etc.
It was a mockery.
They were doing it as a laugh and 'helping sabotage' and teasing Brits.
*yet BB10UK was still better than the silly American ones but you see their idea*
In fairness to the All-Star production - I suppose they are limited to who is available and willing.
Many former-HMs may very well have important jobs now. Others may be (wisely) not wanting to subject themselves to more embarrassment.
