Has he forgotten that his Lord Jesus was persecuted and crucified unjustly and without valid reason, so shouldn't this self confessed man of God look upon it as a test of his faith and fortitude? You'd think so, wouldn't you?
OR, perish the thought, has he been bearing false witness all along, as I haven't seen much in the way of understanding or forgiveness towards others from Dave whilst he's been in the house? Look how he treated Ben who liked and trusted him! He needs to practise what he preaches. Hope he's crucified this week.
