Well I have to admit I applied for BB3 but I was so thankful I didn't get in!! I'd thought that if the contestants were anything like the BB2 gang I'd be in 7th heaven! There were really only a couple of people I disliked, and even then it was just dislike rather than hate - quite a different story from BB3, where just about everyone got on my nerves at some point!

I'm not at all surprised I didn't get in. For one thing my video was dire - I had so many false starts that in the end I gave up and just did a little chat to the camera with a Dean track playing in the background. (probably a really bad move considering they forbid any talk of previous series!) It wasn't any worse than Jade's "rubber band" etc but hey ho ... I just thank god they didn't pick me!!

It didn't enter my head to try this year, which is a shame as it sounds like they're returning to more "warmth and wit" (I'm sure I read that somewhere!) and the house looks lovely - warm and welcoming and not a bit like the cold, clinical BB3 house.

My reasons for applying were basically because I wanted to do something "different"! The money would have been nice but that didn't even come in to it to be honest. The thought of meeting such great people from all walks of life and forging such strong friendships was a big motivator, as was slobbing around like a teenager and drinking cider for x-number of weeks!

I don't think I would have been quite as boring as some, a bit more tolerant than others, but I would have enjoyed every minute - except the loo of course!!
