Edinburgh Zoo, Murrayfield Ice Rink, if your interested in Football you could go to Easter Road or Tynecastle stadiums when Hibs or Hearts are playing.
You could go shopping in Princess Street and there is two nearby centres also.. St.James centre and the Princes Mall.
Although i've always thought there isn't an awful lot to do in Edinburgh.
