This series has practically ruined Big Brother for me. I'm fairly happy with the rumoured UBB line-up, but after BB11, I am convinced they will ruin it with silly gimmicks, stupid music/graphics, next to no alcohol, intervening during argumensts, a crap pool, I could go on. I've given up hope - instead I'm hoping to be proved wrong.
This series has been totally abbhorent and without a shadow of a doubt the worst one I have ever watched. All the problems started from the first night - a dull cast that did not gel and have not really provided much entertainment. As much as I like John, he is no BB legend. He's just one of the best out of this very dire cast. Sam is the only close thing we have to a BB legend - and he should've been in this series from the start.
They have relied on silly gimmicks this series to pull in viewers - Jedward, although funny, was a new low. And sending housemates out of the house and putting people in, totally defeating the premise of the show, is ludicrous.
The lack of alcohol, punishments and the fact that everything is so politically correct is another reason why I will be glad when it's all over. Big Brother is a show that is meant to portray reality and not stop people doing things they would in the real world...i.e drink/argue.
And finally - after everything that has been dull and crap about this series, we at last get an opportunity to have an unpredictable, exciting, close final four between John, Sam, Corin and Josie - and then the producers go and pull what I can only describe as one of the worst production decisions I have ever seen on any show ever. It's series suicide and has completely robbed us fans of a great end to this abbhorent mess of a series. I feel it's a final '**** you' to us fans, as well as being a money-grabbing excercise and a blatant ploy to engineer a Josie win. A complete and utter farce.
It's sad, sad day when a small group of incompetent producers can ruin a once loved and iconic TV show.
RIP, Big Brother.
