The next problem you have is that it 'could' be that Rachel Rice is the one who is lying.
The next problem is your *therefore* because I don't think most people on Earth can see David thinking such a story would 'further him in the game'.

You just report that he offered an opinion about Rachel's performance inside BB9.
Did he say (previously) that this years housemates had worse housemates than Rachel Rice?
It's almost as if you have no idea how 'stuff works' and where to follow logical sequence or why people 'say stuff'?
