As soon as josie falls out with him he goes for the old "I love her so much if she don't love me anymore then i am going"
"I want my mummy"
He knows that dopey women see this and go awwww he realy does love her that much awwww.
At the same time josie is thinking "omg hes making me look a right cow now"
He spends a good few hours in the diary room making josie panic thiking she is never gonna win it now looking heartless.
Then when he returns she says sorry...he cries and it's all back to normal.
