Haha I know - it's almost impossible to fault him lately. I think the performances weren't particularly brilliant (Jackman in particular could've been better) but the themes it dealt with (whilst unoriginal) were great. Plus there's Bowie. It's like they're trying to make it my favourite movie

Took my niece & brother to see The Sorcerer's Apprentice last night. It's incredibly predictable and cheesy but there're a quite a lot of funny moments, the characters are interesting enough to keep your attention, and the effects/action are pretty great. Nicolas Cage is on a good streak.
