I think it's the highly disproportionate act of 'surprise' because it would be realistic to suppose around half the people in the UK do not believe in non-heterosexuality.
OK.
That's fine.
I don't even mind if someone disagrees but for crying out loud will they stop pretending they are SHOCKED and AGHAST and that they simply CANNOT BELIEVE anyone would EVER hold such an opinion.
Come on?
This 'shock and awe' reaction only seems to happen with homosexual beliefs.
Compare this to any other issue. Say a flat tax. I do agree and believe in a flat tax,
BUT,
If I'm in an audience and someone explains they don't believe in the flat tax scheme I don't HOOT SURPRISE and act like WHAAAAAAAATT?!?! And then become agitated beyond indignation that I CANT BELIEVE THIS FREAK EXISTS TODAY.. HOW DARE THEY SHOCK ME WHATTTTTT?!?!?1

yes, i swear that guy is always in every damn audience for every program ever aired and lives on the BB lot for the sole purpose of doing this once a week.
Disagree is fine but calm down and get over the 'outrageous shock' for something many (maybe even most) people do actually line up with.
Stop pretending its 'amazing'.
