Channel 4 don't produce the show and the presenters/producers are fans of the whole concept of it, not just making a living off it. Also, I guess Channel 4 know that viewers will wanna know what's going on. But yeah, ITV wouldn't allow such hints and plugging if it were broadcast by them.
