If Victor was so 'cool' and 'slick' and a great gameplayer he wouldn't always need to have a partner in crime. If Coolio was still in I'm sure Victor would have sucked up to him and become his sidekick. As it is he gets to be the alpha male enlisting Nick. No great accomplishment as there is no alpha male in there so as he says its by default. We saw the 'stirring up' done better by Pepper - Victor meh - just a watered down personality who rates himself a lot more than he should
